Who should attend?

All those involved who are involved in preparation and storage of food.  

This one day course focuses on good practice and procedures. All staff who handle food should receive training as per the requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990. The programme covers a defined syllabus, and candidates are assessed by a short objective test. There is a multiple choice examination paper at the end of the course. 

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health recommends Refresher Training every three years
