Abrasive
wheels and angle grinders are essential equipment in many industries. The range of wheels now
available makes them even more flexible and effective work tools.
Inexperience
or carelessness in the use of this equipment can be very dangerous. Serious
accidents can and do occur without proper training.
Instruction
can be carried out on your own machine. Diamond cutting
blades can be included in this course.
This
course covers amongst other things the mounting of abrasive wheels as
required by section 9 of the Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1970

safe use of hand held cutting machinery as required by the Provision and Use
of Work Regulations of 1998 (PUWER)

correct personal safety protection as required by the Personal Protective Equipment
